 We would definitely come back time and money permitting. 

When we got there, we mostly chased our 2 year old around the property.  She played in the sand, and had fun throwing rocks and sticks in the river.  She chased momma the chicken and loved playing with the mouser cat.  She loved the hot tub, as we used it 4 or 5 times! 

We cooked with the BBQ and ate on the large deck. The view out there while sitting in the hot tub is beautiful.  At night we enjoyed the coziness of the wood stove, and watched movies in the awesome theater room, if we weren't outside at the fire pit.

One day we hiked up to Copper Falls(?) and were taken by it's beauty.  It was the perfect length of a hike for my little girl, and the fact that it's right next door made it even better.

Your place is awesome, hopefully we can rent it from you soon again.  I'm gonna upload some pics to my picasa site soon, I'll shoot you a link then.

I always look forward to going up to Fliegerhaven to totally unwind and relax.  The fresh mountain air is the first thing to hit your senses.  Then I can relax on the deck and listen and watch the beautiful Moyie River right in front of me go by....all while watching a deer pass by and an eagle soar overhead.  Overimagination...afraid not..this is the ultimate relaxing getaway.  Later on I can read my book, take a soak in the hot tub while looking at true North Idaho moutaintops, enjoy a glass of wine, play cards, watch a movie in the surround sound movie theatre room with a great selection of any movie you could ever want to watch.  However, this would be after the sunset when it is dark and nothing else to do.  The hike at Copper Falls up to a mountain top waterfall is pristine and if you have kids they will sleep like never before from true kid-fun exhaustion.  My children enjoy fishing the most.  It is a fly fisherman's haven.  During the summer you can cool off and float the river as well.  The temperature is perfect.  At Fliegerhaven you can do it all.   It is remote and you are truly away from civilization with no interupptions.  Give it a try, you won't want to go back to reality. 

Fliegerhaven is user friendly for all ages.  I am in my early sixties and enjoy the quiet, beauty, and pristine surroundings.  I find enjoyment in reading, watching my grandchildren play croquet on the lawn or watching them catch a fish while I sit lounging next to the river.  I also enjoy the hiking that is available, visiting the small lakes, and the feeling of being away from it all.  In the evenings I enjoy sitting next to the fire while enjoying a glass of wine.  First thing in the morning is my favorite time of day.  It is very peaceful and quiet with all of the natural surroundings.  Sitting in the hottub while looking at the river is one of my favorite things.   I would highly recommend fliegerhaven to anyone who truly enjoys the outdoors.
